Fault Tolerant Flight Control Using Adaptive Predictive Control

This project aims to continue development of identification and adaptive control, as well as the application of these methods to flight control systems. Since most flight control systems are based on simulation results, it is necessary to identify model parameters. Most flight control systems have perturbations or unmodelled dynamics that require the use of stochastic systems. For identification, it is planned to use the methods of least squares, weighted least squares, and stochastic approximation to continue the work on the numerical implementations of these identification algorithms. Fault-tolerant and robust controls and fault detection in adaptive control are also being investigated.
