| Homework: |
Homework is due every week on Thursday. The homework will consist
of problems from the book as well as ``Additional Problems'', both of
which will be available on the course website. Homework will be graded
based on the correctness as well the clarity of the solution. No late
homework will be accepted. Your lowest two homework scores will be
dropped. |
| Quizzes: |
There will be a quiz every Tuesday. In addition, there will be a
pop-quiz whenever more than 1/3 of the class is absent. Your lowest
two quiz scores will be dropped. |
| Exams: |
There will be an exam on Tuesday, September 23rd and on
Tuesday October 28th. Exams will consist of an in-class portion
as well as a take-home portion, which will be due the following Tuesday.
The final exam is on Saturday, December 13th, 9:00am -- 11:00am.
