KU researcher among guests on NPR's "Public Interest" show

Prasad Gogineni, Deane E. Ackers distinguished professor of electrical engineering, joined NASA and NSF experts to talk about Glaciers, Icebergs, and Antarctica on National Public Radio.
Julie Palais, program manager, Antarctic glaciology, National Science Foundation, and Waleed Abdalati, senior scientist managing NASA cryospheric sciences program, joined host Kojo Nnamdi on Public Interest. They talked about the melting of the polar ice sheets and general topics related to glaciers and icebergs.
Gogineni joined the program via telephone to talk specifically about his PRISM (Polar Radar for Ice Sheet Measurements) project.
